“光辉历程·时代画卷”——中国美术馆举行庆祝中国共产党成立90周年美术作品大展由中华人民共和国文化部主办、中国美术馆承办的“光辉历程·时代画卷——庆祝中国共产党成立90周年美术作品大展”于2011年6月下旬在中国美术馆举行,此次大展是庆祝中国共产党成立90周年的一项重大美术活动。展览具有三大特征:一是以史诗般的丹青画卷展示出中国共产党的光辉历程和伟大业绩;二是荟萃名家名作,展示出在党的文艺方针指引下中国美术创作的时代华章;三是以鲜明的主题性和极高的艺术性展示出中国美术在重大主题创作上的学术特色。
