城市,社会主导生活方式的载体空间。有这样一句话很形象:“农业革命是城市诞生的时间,工业革命是城币组成的时间。”时间,生活日常的表述。每一个不同的时代,其社会的主导生活方式均有所不同。一方承载主导生活方式的空间,一段完美生活质量的时间,交叠着多少人的城市之梦。城市化、都市性、现代性,乃至城里人,这些词汇的内涵与外延,已经不能单靠文字概念表述清楚了。以往,我们更多地关注于社会经济发展、文化趋向等对城市化的作用。城市化的表象结果是反映在城市空间演进上的。尝试着从城市建筑空间的角度,再看—眼被我们推崇得响当当的城市化,也许会给我们的城市化探索一个侧面的启发。

Trying to look at the architectural space of the city and look at it - the eye-popping urbanization we see in the eye may shed some light on our urbanization.
