This year marks the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. I am 97 years old. When I recall the magnificent years of the war of resistance against Japan, I always imagined my life as if it were yesterday. From October 1937 to October 1945, I had been fighting in the earth of Jidong. She served successively as secretary of the special committee of the Hebei Jiheidian Party, commander of the Jidong anti-Japanese coalition forces, commander of the thirteenth detachment of Hebei Inspections, and commander of the 13th Detachment.
