(本刊讯)历时3年半,投资25亿元的中国国家博物馆改扩建工程已全面竣工。作为“十一五”期间我国重大文化建设工程项目,改扩建后的国博建筑面积由过去的6.5万平方米增加到近20万平方米,并跻身于世界重要博物馆行列。为弘扬和体现中华优秀传统文化,中国国家博物馆于1月11日上午10时30分在北门广场隆重举行孔子塑像落成仪式。全国人大副委员长蒋树声,全国政协副主席孙家正,全国政协常委刘江,文化部副部长王文章,中国文联党组副书记覃志刚,国家文物局副局长顾玉才,国家博物馆馆长吕章申,国家文物局副局长顾玉才,著名雕塑家吴为山,以及邵大箴、袁运甫、盛杨、田黎明等出席。国家博物馆党委书记黄振春主持落成仪式。
