《中国心理学史》这本供全国综合大学、高等师范院校心理学专业使用的教材出版之后,为了配合《中国心理学史》的学习以及对它作进一步的研究,国家教委文科教材办公室又委托上海师范大学教育管理系燕国材教授(主编)、江西师范大学教育系杨鑫辉副教授(副主编)和苏州大学教育科学教研室朱永新副教授(副主编)编写了《中国心理学史资料选编》。这套4卷本的教学参考资料第一卷(先秦部分)和第二卷(汉至唐部分)已由人民教育出版社出版。作为这套书的责任编辑,有幸最先通读了全书。觉得这套教学参考资料有如下特色:
