安徽宿松、巢县一带原划为奥陶纪,地层的下部是一套白云岩,厚度甚大,未发现化石,前人大都划归下奥陶统仑山组。1965年,在宿松县龙山这套地层发现了Kunmingaspis,Chittidilla等三叶虫,其时代与西南地区陡坡寺期相当,因出露不全,未能予以详细划分。1976年,在巢县汤山、高林桥和无为县龙骨山等地,又发现了Kunmingaspis,Redlichia等
Anhui Susong, Chao County area plan for the Ordovician, the lower part of the strata is a set of dolomite, a very large thickness, no fossils found, most of our predecessors were placed under the Ordovician Lun Shan group. In 1965, a trilobite such as Kunmingaspis and Chittidilla was found in this formation in Longshan, Susong County. Its age was comparable to that of the steep slope in southwest China. Due to incomplete disclosure, it failed to be divided in detail. In 1976, in Tang County, Chao County, Gaoling Bridge and Wuwei County Longgu Mountain and found Kunmingaspis, Redlichia, etc.
