久闻吴川县学校体育工作开展得红红火火,特别是学校体育场地器材的建设更是硕果累累、颇具特色。笔者趁在湛江市参加全国学校体育卫生工作研讨会之机,慕名前往参观访问。吴川县从1980年开始,发扬自力更生、艰苦创业的精神,大搞学校体育场地器材建设。十年来全县共开辟田径场182个,篮球场342个,游泳池3个,自制各种体育器材27000多件,大型联合器械82套。目前,全县360所中小学已有96％的学校达到《广东省不同类型中小学校体育场地器材配备标准》,其中有30％以上的学校超标,部分学校达到国家教委颁发的《中学体育器材设施配备目录》和《小学体育器材设施配备目录》标准。这项系统工程为吴川县学校体育工作奠定了坚实的物质基础,促进了吴川县学校体育事业
Long heard Wuchuan County school physical education work is booming, especially the construction of school sports facilities is fruitful, quite distinctive. I take advantage of Zhanjiang City to participate in the national school sports health seminar machine, attracted to visit. Wuchuan County since 1980, carry forward the spirit of self-reliance and arduous pioneering, vigorously promote the construction of school sports facilities. Over the past ten years, the county has opened up 182 track and field courts, 342 basketball courts, 3 swimming pools, made more than 27,000 kinds of sports equipment and 82 large-scale combined instruments. At present, 96% of the schools in 360 primary and secondary schools in the county have met the standard of “Equipments for Sports Facilities of Different Types of Primary and Secondary Schools in Guangdong Province”, of which over 30% of schools have exceeded the standard, and some of the schools have reached the “Middle School Sports Equipment and Facilities Equipped with directory ”and“ primary sports facilities and equipment directory ”standard. This systematic project has laid a solid material foundation for Wuchuan County school physical education and promoted Wuchuan County school physical education
