一九七八年六月十二日,在我国寥廓的上空,又殒落了一颗灿烂的巨星,我们敬爱的郭老与世长辞了。他为共产主义事业奋斗终身,不愧为我国卓越的无产阶级文化战士。他在科学、文化、教育多方面的革命事业中,都是我们的前辈、导师,他的逝世,不能不使我心情沉重,悲痛万分。“五四”运动之后,当我踏出中学校门时,就诵读了郭老早年写作的、大量生气蓬勃的诗歌,对我起了启蒙的教育作用。后来我在武昌上大学,和郭老多次通信,请他给我指导,虽然我只是一个平常的大学生,而他循循善诱,不惮烦地给我以多方面的
On June 12, 1978, over the boundlessness of our country, another glorious superstar was ejected, and our beloved Guo Lao died. He is a lifelong leader in the cause of communism and deserves to be our outstanding proletarian cultural warrior. He is our predecessor, mentor, and his death in the revolutionary cause of science, culture and education. He can not but make me feel saddened and grieved. After the “May 4th Movement”, when I stepped out of the middle school, I read a lot of energetic poems written by Guo in the early years and played an enlightening educational role for me. Later, I went to college in Wuchang and communicated with Guo Lao many times, asking him to give me guidance. Although I was just an ordinary college student, he followed my example and did not bother to give me a multifaceted
