2013年12月,业内首个云遥感软件ENVI Services Engine 5.1正式发布。ENVI Services Engine(简称ESE)是Exelis VIS公司最新推出的云遥感服务解决方案,ESE是以服务方式部署遥感功能,即以Web Service形式存在的IDL和ENVI在云端(或者企业级服务器端)处理,客户端可以在线、按需(on-line,on-demand)请求遥感服务。ESE采用了开源标准、与中间件无关的体系结构,将资源和互操作考虑进去。可以将一个资源上部署的图像分析功能并传递给多个平台,允许用户通过Internet在瘦客户端或者移动客户端上进行大数据量的高级分
In December 2013, the industry’s first cloud remote sensing software ENVI Services Engine 5.1 was released. ENVI Services Engine (ESE) is the latest cloud remote sensing service solution from Exelis VIS. ESE deploys remotely-sensed service as a service, that is, IDL and ENVI in the form of Web Services are processed in the cloud (or enterprise server) Clients can request remote sensing services on-line, on-demand. ESE uses an open source standard that has nothing to do with middleware and takes resources and interoperability into account. Image analysis capabilities deployed on one resource can be delivered to multiple platforms allowing users to make high scores of large amounts of data over thin clients or mobile clients over the Internet
