回族是我国一个大分散小聚居的少数民族,在湖北省人口总数在少数民族中仅次于土家族和苗族。回族同胞在民间习惯上被称为回民。历史上,回民不仅信守教门(伊斯兰教)的规矩,还信守诸多的老礼儿。讲礼数、重规矩是回族民风的一大特色。回民家庭非常重视“老礼儿”的传承,礼数的培养,从娃娃抓起。孩子刚懂事时,大人们便开始向他们传授回民的规矩。称呼
The Hui nationality is a large and scattered minority living in our country. It ranks second only to the Tujia and Miao nationalities in the minority population of Hubei Province.
