取重1.4~4kg的家兔,制成了更加接近人眼PVR的模型。在注入纤维母细胞之前24小时,对21眼注入甾族化合物,18眼仅注入基本药剂以作对照。甾族化合物投药组视网膜脱离的频率为43%,对照组为85%,取得显著效果。指出:以治疗和预防为目的使用甾族化合物时,可在手术前投药,且以局部浓度起决定作用。高浓度的眼内甾族化合物,抑制PVR的效果是肯定的。仅全身投药几乎没有抑制效果,眼内注射与全身投药并用,效果的增强也
