谷福海,北京市人,毕业于大学美术专业,1981 年至今在中国文联工作。中国美术家协会会员、中国作家协会会员、中国音乐家协会会员、中国诗歌学会会员、中国音乐文学学会会员、中国散文诗协会理事、中国音乐著作权协会会员。出版著作有:《谷福海国画集》、《谷福海短诗选》、《绿色的相思树》、《旅人之恋》、《爱的表白》、《万里金湖步步歌》、《我的名片:中国》、《温馨的五色花》。先后在国内外发表作品近千件,其中美术作品和评介文章在人民日报、光明日报、经济日报、中国文化报、中国艺术报、中国书画报、中国老年报、人民政协报、现代书画家报、澳大利亚《澳洲新报》等报刊刊登。部分作品选入《中国画名家作品集》、《当代艺术家书画集》、《中国书画名家小品画集》、《中央国家机关书画家作品集》、《中华儿女众志成城画集》、《中国美术金彩奖作品集》、《中央电视台书画展作品集》、《翰墨丹青战非典作品集》、《中国兰花节书画作品集》、《秦皇岛之夏全国书画展作品集》、《黄河情全国书画展作品集》、《二十一世纪全国书画展作品集》等。2001 年举办个人画展。2002年与李春海、赵占东、王玉良、孙志钧等举办画展。
