独子孙科孙中山的长女孙娫聪慧伶俐,气质与风采与孙中山颇为相似。却因患糖尿病,加之肾功能衰竭,18岁便病亡了。次女孙婉经历了两次婚姻,后定居澳门,1979年病逝,享年84岁。孙科是孙中山唯一的儿子,在孙氏家族和国民政府中占有重要地位。孙科1891年10月20日出生于翠亨村,在檀香山接受了小学和中学教育。孙中山为革命奔走漂泊,但心中仍记挂着孙科的教育问题。据孙科回忆:“父亲有一次从英国回来,途经檀香山,带给我100多本英文版的世界名著,命我勤读。我的英文修养,可说都在那时打下了根基。”

Sun Ke was born on October 20, 1891 in Tsui Hang Village, receiving primary and secondary education in Honolulu. Sun Yat-sen ran wandering for the revolution, but his mind still remembered Sun’s education. According to Sun Ke recalled: “My father once came back from the United Kingdom, through Honolulu, brought me more than 100 English version of the world famous, ordered me to diligent .My English training, can be said that at that time laid the foundation. ”
