国外食品包装一般都采用纸盒、纸袋、纸筒、纸罐等各类纸质容器。特别是欧洲20世纪70年代后期以后,在食品业中纸质容器已大量代替了马口铁和铝罐等,在纸质包装容器中,纸袋的使用最广泛,所占的比例也最大。粮食制品如大米,面粉等用纸容器包装,新鲜的水果、蔬菜等也用纸袋,连一些怕压的果品也先装在纸盒里,再用纸袋包装。现在国际上纸质制品的发展方向是具有多功能的,如具有防湿、保鲜、感温、盛水、杀菌
