荣获1984年度全国优秀新闻照片金牌奖的《得了一个满分》(见本刊第五期封面),是新华社记者胡越采访第23届奥运会的成功之作。奥运会,这个多少年来在世界人民心目中象征和平、交往和友谊的体育盛会,对中国人民来说,却一直记录着失败和耻辱。五十二年前在美国洛杉矶,中国第一次派出只有一个运动员和教练员的代表团参加奥运会,在预选赛中就被淘汰了。当时的美国报刊曾讥讽地评论道:“随着中国运动员的失败,整个中国都失败了。”五十二年后的1984年,还是在洛杉矶,中国体育代表团以其强大的阵容,崭新的精神风貌,再次踏入奥运会的比赛场,用赢得金牌总数第四位的优异成绩,洗刷了“失败”的记录,使中华民族在奥运史上突破了“零”,象巨龙一样腾空飞起。
Won the 1984 National Excellent News Photo Gold Medal “got a perfect score” (see the fifth issue cover), Xinhua News Agency reporter Hu Yue interviewed the success of the 23rd Olympic Games. For the Chinese people, the Olympic Games, a sports event symbolizing peace, exchanges and friendship among people in the world for many years, has always recorded failures and shamelessness. Fifty-two years ago in Los Angeles, China, the first delegation to China that sent only one athlete and coaches to attend the Olympic Games was eliminated in the qualifying session. The then American press commented ironically: “With the failure of Chinese athletes, China as a whole failed.” Fifty-two years later, in 1984, it was still in Los Angeles. The Chinese sports delegation, with its strong lineup, Spiritual style, once again entered the Olympic Games arena, with the gold medal fourth place outstanding results scrub the “failure” record, so that the Chinese nation in the history of the Olympic Games broke through the “zero”, like a dragon flying off.
