艾尔曼作为一名外国学人,为什么能几十年如一日持之不懈地从事中国历史文化研究?其学术道路是如何走过来的?其学术成就与贡献突出表现何在?在学术观点与研究方法上有何创新之举?这些问题似乎都应认真思考与回答,这从学术史与学术交流的角度说,他作为当今国际知名学者,理应多留下些学术信息档案,以资借鉴交流,即使是从个人友谊视角看,我觉得也有必要留下点永久的文字记忆。因不惴浅陋,拟就我们间的学术交流出发,就其治学之路、学术成就等方面略作评述。
As a foreign scholar, how can Elman do research in Chinese history and culture relentlessly for decades and how has his academic path come from? What is his academic achievement and contribution? In the academic perspective and research As far as the methods of innovation are concerned, it seems that all these problems should be seriously considered and answered.
