《红灯照》这个戏,是我们剧组全体创作人员怀着落实毛主席指示的坚定决心,在各级党组织领导下,通力协作,用较短的时间创作排练出来的。我担任了这个戏的导演工作。在文化大革命后的今天,如何按照毛主席“古为今用”,“推陈出新”的方针,努力清除“四人帮”的流毒,批判地继承京剧的传统艺术手法以崭新的面貌演出历史剧,在舞台上再现人民的精神与力量,塑造历史的主人的英雄形象,这是我们工作中面临的首要课题。对此,我们做了些探索,这里谈谈自己的初步体会。
The film “Red Lantern” is a show that all the creative staff of our crew hold the firm resolve to implement Chairman Mao’s instructions. Under the leadership of party organizations at all levels, they work together and rehearsed them in a relatively short period of time. I served as director of the show. This is the primary issue facing our work. In this regard, we have done some exploration, here to talk about their own initial experience.
