杜鹃花(Rhododendronspp)于1985年确定为长沙市市花。2005年全市地栽杜鹃花生产面积达1600hm2,年产苗木2.4亿株,年销售额7200万元,成为长沙市花木产业品牌产品,带动了全省地栽杜鹃花苗木产业的发展。湖南省林科院和长沙市林业局合作,历时8年,经外业考察收集和品种的遗传稳定性试验,基本查清楚了全市地栽杜鹃花的品种资源和发展历史。本文旨在为长沙市地栽杜鹃花品种资源的科学保护及利用提供基础资料。
Rhododendron (Rhododendronspp) in 1985 identified as Changsha city flower. In 2005 the city planted rhododendrons production area of 1600hm2, with an annual output of 240 million seedlings, annual sales of 72 million yuan, a flower brand products in Changsha, led the province to grow azaleas seedlings industry. Hunan Academy of Forestry and Changsha City Forestry Bureau, which lasted for 8 years, after field inspection collection and varieties of genetic stability test, the basic investigation of the city planted azaleas variety resources and development history. This article aims to provide the basic information for the scientific protection and utilization of rhododendron species resources in Changsha City.
