自治区文冠果科研协作首次会议于一九八○年七月二十三日至二十八日在伊宁市召开。这次会议是在全区各地近年来引种文冠果普遍获得初步成功,部分已经开花结实,并表现出许多优良特性,同时发现了一些急待解决的技术关键问题的情况下召开的。出席这次会议的有生产、科研、教育和业务行政领导单位的代表共三十四人。会议期间传达了全国二次文冠果科研协作会议精神,介绍了兄弟省(区)先进的栽培管理技术经验和最新科研成果。参观了伊犁哈萨克自治州农垦科研所、林业研究所、察布查尔平原林场和哈尔墩苗圃的文冠果园,听取了伊犁州林业、农垦科研所培育文冠果丰产林、以及开展科学研究情况的介绍。会
