The effects of the winter Pacific anomalies on the storm turbulence and the rapids are analyzed using the observed data. The results show that both the storm axis and the jet stream move northward obviously during the positive SST anomaly in the winter Kuroshio area, and the intensity of the storm axis increases significantly in the entrance area while the core intensity of the jet stream does not change much. In the winter, When positive SST anomaly in the Pacific Ocean, the storm axis and the rapid stream mainly expand to the southeast direction, and the intensity also increases significantly in the central and eastern Pacific, but the center intensity of the jet stream also changes little. Further analysis shows that the location and intensity of the rapids are mainly affected by changes in the magnitude of the temperature gradient in the tropical and subtropical regions. The changes in the location and intensity of the storm axes are not only related to the rapid current but also to the baroclinic stress caused by the nonadiabatic heating effect closely related.
