I wrote “Choice”. The initial guiding principle was that I did not want any problems in the reform. In 1995, at that moment in 1996, the entire society’s skepticism and misunderstanding of the reform was in fact caused by corruption. What shakes off this consequence is the cornerstone of the reform. What is shaken is the passion of the common people involved in the reform. This is terrible. The spread of corruption creates the kind of misconduct toward vulnerable groups - it appears that corruption is brought about by reforms. This trend of thought may be killed at any time, or in the form of an extreme left, will cause tremendous damage to society. Our country can only go along the path of healthy reform. This is the only way for China. We must reform and this reform must be positive and healthy
