社区作为人类学基本研究单位,在其学科方法论意义外,尚有认识论层面的局限。传统社区研究具有两个不同面向:概念研究与田野个案实践研究,二者各有局限,在人类学反思思潮中,其局限也被诟病,主要包括不同主体对社区概念的建构、社区概念的整体观问题、社区研究的类型及其地域性局限。针对上述局限,国内外人类学家尝试各种超越传统社区研究的理论与实践,试图弥补传统社区研究范式的不足,但传统社区研究仍具有较高的学术价值。
Community as a basic unit of anthropology, in addition to its disciplinary methodology, there are epistemological limitations. The traditional community research has two different aspects: the concept study and the field case study. Each has its own limitation. In the thought of anthropological reflection, its limitation has also been criticized, including the construction of community concept by different subjects, the concept of community as a whole Viewpoints, the types of community studies and their geographical limitations. In response to these limitations, anthropologists both at home and abroad have tried various theories and practices that go beyond traditional community studies and tried to make up for the deficiencies of traditional community research paradigms. However, traditional community research still has a high academic value.
