The recently released International Opinion on Prevention and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism (ICSPTVTE) is one of the major expert opinion papers devoted to the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE); the guide has been published in Lisbon, Portugal Announced at the 22nd International Union of Vascular Medicine (IUA).
