实验结果表明，炙甘草汤不仅可使小鼠抗应激能力加强，而且还能升高小鼠外周血超氧化物歧化酶（SOD）的活性及降低过氧化脂质（LPO）的含量，因而可能具有一定清除小鼠体内自由基、延缓衰老，提高生命活力的作用。
The experimental results showed that Zhigancao Decoction can not only enhance the anti-stress ability of mice, but also increase the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and reduce the content of lipid peroxide (LPO) in mice. It may have the effect of clearing free radicals in the body of mice, slowing down aging, and improving vitality.
