对嫁接在29种砧木上的沙田柚、晚白柚及五布柚(共66个砧穗组合)的早期表现进行了比较研究。结果表明,以酒饼簕和枳为砧能使柚矮化;以某些柚和酸橙为砧使柚乔化;对其他一些砧木不同柚品种的反应各异。以枳橙为砧的晚白柚和五布柚生长中庸,嫁接后第3年便开花结果,由此认为枳橙为有希望的早结柚类砧木。
The early performance of Shatian pomelo, Late white pomelo and Wufu grapefruit grafted on 29 kinds of rootstocks (66 scion combinations) were compared. The results showed that grapefruit dwarfing could be achieved by using the wine cakes and the trifoliate orange as the anvil, the pomelo being the anvil with some pomelo and lime as the anvil, and the different pomelo varieties with the different responses. The late white grapefruit and the five grapefruit grow the golden mean with citrange as the anvil, and the flowering result is obtained in the third year after the grafting, thus, the orange root is regarded as the promising early pomelo rootstock.
