构建社会主义和谐社会,是我们推进经济社会发展的重要目标。社会公平是社会和谐的重要基石,是社会文明的重要尺度。要让社会的创造活力竞相迸发,就必须让人们普遍分享发展的成果,使人与人之间、人与社会之间、人与自然之间和谐相处。没有公平正义,社会就不可能诚信友爱、安定有序、充满活力,建设和谐社会也就成为一句空话。一个和谐的社会,必定是公平的社会。如果一个社会的发展结果是少数人受益,多数人受损,那么这个社会不可能是一个健康和谐的社会。
