“三个代表”重要思想对党的领导干部提出的素质要求是全方位、高水准的。实践“三个代表” ,必须具备较高的马克思主义理论修养、远大的共产主义理想、坚定的社会主义信念和无产阶级政治家品格 ;必须具备全心全意为人民服务的公仆意识 ,清正廉洁、艰苦奋斗、拒腐防变的高尚品质 ;必须具备世界眼光、战略思维和较强的领导能力。对于党的领导干部来说 ,“三个代表”不仅是一个理论问题 ,更重要的是一个实践问题。在实践“三个代表”过程中全面提高自身素质 ,必须端正态度、夯实作风 ,在“认真”二字上狠下功夫。
The requirements of the important thinking of the “three represents” for the quality of the party’s leading cadres are all-round and of high standard. To practice “three represents,” we must have a higher standard of Marxist education, a lofty communist ideal, a firm belief in socialism and a proletarian politician. We must have the sense of public servant serving the people wholeheartedly, be honest and clean, work hard and strive hard , The noble quality of preventing corruption and turning a blind eye; we must have a world-wide vision, strategic thinking and strong leadership skills. For the party’s leading cadres, the “three represents” are not only a theoretical issue, but more importantly, a practical issue.
