浓郁乡土气息的土默川文化,给了他无限的艺术灵感,一生陶醉于西部民族民间音乐的创作整理研究,让他无怨无悔乐此不疲。王彦彪是生活在群众之中的音乐家,是内蒙古自治区音乐界德高望重的作曲家、指挥家,在国内享有较高知名度。王彦彪出生在山西省阳城县一个贫寒的家庭,早年父母先后去世,他由伯父抚养成人。1947年他15岁加入晋冀鲁豫太岳军区党委文工团。1953年他从山西支边调入内蒙古自治区歌舞团工作,同年加入共青团,1984年入党。是中国音乐家协会会员、中国戏曲音乐学会会

In 1953, he was transferred to the song and dance troupe of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from the Shanxi branch, joined the Communist Youth League in the same year, and joined the party in 1984.
