吕复(1879～1955),第一届河北省政协副主席,第一届全国政协委员。一生主要从事教育事业。解放前任众议院议员、教育部次长、中国大学校长,新中国成立后任察哈尔省人民政府副主席、河北省人民政府副主席吕复是河北省涿鹿县人,1903年考中举人。1905年赴日本留学,先就读于东京早稻田大学预科,后转入明治大学法科。1908年在日本东京加入由孙中山领导的同盟会,并在同盟会机关报《民报》任编译工作。1911年回国后当选为众议院议员。1913年,袁世凯未经国会通过,私自和五国银行团签定2.5亿元借款
Lv Fu (1879 ~ 1955), the first vice chairman of CPPCC Hebei Province, the first member of the CPPCC National Committee. Life is mainly engaged in education.
