在温室内,评价了几种普通的亚利桑那棉花品种对大孢链格孢(Alternaria macrospora)轮纹斑病的相对感病性。陆地棉品种Deltapine Acala-90比Deltapine 61,Acala SJ-5和McNair 235更感病。海岛棉品种Pima S-6和Pima S-5比陆地棉品种更感病。近年来,相对高感轮纹斑病的品种(Pima和Deltapine AcaLa-90)在亚利桑那州的种植面积增长较快,这可能加大了轮纹斑病爆发的频率和严重度。试验结果表明病斑直径可有效地衡量寄主感病性。
In a greenhouse, the relative susceptibility of several common Arizona cotton varieties to Alternaria macrospora ring spot disease was evaluated. The upland cotton variety Deltapine Acala-90 is more susceptible than the Deltapine 61, Acala SJ-5 and McNair 235. Island cotton varieties Pima S-6 and Pima S-5 are more susceptible than upland cotton varieties. In recent years, the relatively high rate of leaf spot blight (Pima and Deltapine AcaLa-90) has grown rapidly in Arizona, which may have increased the frequency and severity of leaf spot blight. Experimental results show that the lesion diameter can effectively measure host susceptibility.
