本文从军队自身的行为能力和公众评价两个方面对军队历史形象进行界定,提出我军历史形象的基本特征是,党指挥下的人民军队的政治品格、以弱胜强能征善战的战斗品格、不怕牺牲英雄辈出的精神品格、艰苦奋斗纪律严明的作风品格;针对目前存在的对我军历史形象展示的文化意味和精神内涵不够、历史形象与现实形象衔接不够,形象展示与运用方法途径比较单一等问题,提出准确定位军队形象、挖掘军队历史形象内涵、拓展军队历史形象展示途径等建议。
