Developed high stability millimeter wave IMPATT oscillator. The IMPATT diode is mounted in a coaxial-waveguide circuit that demodulates the open circuit and self-resonates at the design frequency. The frequency stability obtained at 80 GHz is ± 5 × 10 -5 / ± 20 ° C and the output power is 50 mW.
