在20世纪,世界各国有很多优秀作家,他们所创作的作品有很多都富有深意,即使在今天还是值得我们对其加以研究和探索。海明威在创作《老人与海》的过程中,用到了他“冰山理论”的这种创作原则,对人与自然之间进行斗争的题材加以展现,歌颂了人类可以被摧毁,但不可以被打败的一种精神。本文主要通过老人、小男孩儿、大海以及马林鱼等所渗透的象征意义做出了简要的探讨。
