我最初接触刘国军先生的书法作品,是去年西藏自治区的一次书展上。他的一幅北魏墓志作品被评为银奖。随后,我品读了他大量的早期、近期作品后,非常激动,他走静态一路的正书,作吕既偏向于传统碑帖,又在传统笔法中融入新意,自出机杼,大小横竖,不拘一格,有着丰富的文化含量和较高的艺术水准。在当今社会急剧变革的今天,他却以罕见的定力坚持着自己的艺术信念,执著地在黑与白的书道上求索。
My initial contact with Mr. Liu Guojun’s calligraphy was a book fair in the Tibet Autonomous Region last year. His Northern Wei Dynasty epitaphs have been awarded the silver medal. Later, after reading a large number of his early and recent works, I was very excited. He took the static book of novels, which favored the traditional rubbings and incorporated new ideas in traditional writing. Grid, has a rich cultural content and high artistic standards. Today, with the rapid change in our society today, he persists in his own artistic conviction with his uncompromising determination and persistently pursues the books on black and white.
