Researchers at Carnegie-Mellon University discovered a group of non-ferrite-based materials that absorb radar radiation and reduce aircraft radar reflections by 80%. This material, the retinyl schiif base salt, is a group of divalent groups in the linear backbone of some carbon-nitrogen-containing structurally bonded molecular polyolefin chains that contain double bond carbon-nitrogen structures.
