文章着重论述了“三个代表”的创新、实事求是的科学精神。指出科学精神的本质在于创新，“三个代表”思想的创新表现在党建目标、党性原则表现形式及实现途径三个方面；科学精神的灵魂是实事求是，“三个代表”思想是从国内外、党内外的实际出发作出的科学论断；科学精神的最基本要求是务实，贯彻“三个代表”思想就是要联系实际搞好各项工作。
The article emphatically discusses the scientific spirit of “three represents” innovation and seeking truth from facts. It points out that the essence of the scientific spirit lies in innovation.
