从81年起,我厂对某些盐类作了一些筛选实验,发现以硫酸钡、硝酸钠、石墨为主按一定比例配成的混合物,对ZL102、ZL401有良好的精炼变质作用,而对ZL102、ZL104、ZL105、ZL108、ZL201等合金用于精炼,其效果明显;ZL102、ZL104合金处于亚变组织,硅晶体在基体组织中呈分散细小的较短针片状结构,经热处理强度提高较多,而延伸率有所下降,但仍在相关技术标准以上,结合民品生产批量考核之后,合金牌号为ZL101的军品铸件均已投入批量生产,冶金质量稳定,消除了以往时有针孔度级别不合格的现象。
