对普通小麦近缘野生种新疆大赖草 ( Leymus racemosus ( Lam.) Tzvel.)的农艺性状、品质性状和抗性进行的鉴定观察 ,以及与普通小麦 ( T.Aestivum L.)进行的杂交试验表明 ,新疆大赖草表现为茎粗抗倒 ,穗大 ,粒多 ,植株高大 ,叶片蜡质化 ;蛋白质含量为 1 8.3% ,1 7种氨基酸平均比普通小麦品种高出 2 8.96%。它对干旱、盐碱、寒冷、瘠薄等非生物胁迫具较高耐性 ,并对白粉病、锈病、根腐病、黄矮病、赤霉病等真菌、细菌和病毒病害抗性良好 ;新疆大赖草与普通小麦杂交难以获得杂种后代
