The Symposium on Strategic Cooperation of the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences-Thomson Science and Technology Information Group was held on December 14, 2007 in Beijing. This cooperation will promptly and accurately present the important scientific research results and progress of China to scientists all over the world. The China Science Citation Database will rely on the ISI Web of Knowledge (SM) platform to allow more researchers worldwide to understand the scientific developments and developments in China and to contribute to the international dissemination of scientific research in China. According to the Web of Science research conducted by Thomson Technology Group, 69,664 academic papers have been published in 2006 in China, including articles, notes, reviews and conference proceedings.
