关于各地文化运动开展的情形,我自己知道详细情形很少,所以不能全部地来讲给诸位听,只能把华南、东南、西南的情形讲一点。我们先从上海说起吧:在上海,自从失陷以后,文化工作反而比失陷以前好得多了。失陷以前的文化运动,因为派别分歧,文化人或文化团体都不能一致行动,文化工作不能顺利进行,反而遭遇到许多困难,文化运动的成绩,也就不见得怎么好。但失陷以后的情形就大不同了,所有上海文化人和文化团体都能团结起来,采取一致的行动。
As for the cultural movements carried out by various localities, I know very little about the details. Therefore, I can not fully listen to you. I can only speak of the situations in south China, southeast and southwest. Let us start with Shanghai: In Shanghai, since the fall, cultural work has been much better than before. Before the cultural movement that was lost, because of the differences among the factions, neither the cultural people nor the cultural groups can act in unison. The cultural work can not be carried out smoothly. On the contrary, many difficulties have been encountered and the performance of the cultural movement is not necessarily good. However, the situation after the fall was quite different. All Shanghai cultural and cultural groups can unite and take concerted action.
