Wang Xiangyuan, director of comparative literature at Beijing Normal University, is devoted to the study of comparative literature. Only three research articles on this topic were released earlier this year. The new theory of comparative literature is based on the lectures of recent years and written in strict accordance with the specifications and requirements of academic works. The research of comparative literature in our country started in the early 1980s. In the recent two decades, the theoretical research of the comparative literature in our country has been making continuous progress and made gratifying achievements.
