本文从国内外20种权威医学期刊中随机选择了20篇摘要建立了一个英、汉语医学论文摘要部分模糊限制语的小型语料库,并结合Swales的语步分析法对其中的模糊限制语进行了定性和定量的对比研究。对比研究显示:英汉语摘要中普遍存在模糊限制语,并且摘要四步中模糊限制语的分布趋势具有很大的相似性,但是模糊限制语的出现频次以及种类分布则存在显著差异。本文对这些现象进行了分析并且讨论医学论文中模糊限制语的语用功能,并进一步探讨了其对摘要和医学论文写作的启示。
In this paper, 20 authoritative medical journals at home and abroad were randomly selected 20 abstracts. A small corpus of hedges in English and Chinese medical abstracts was established, and the hedges were qualitatively analyzed by using Swales’ step-by-step analysis And quantitative comparative study. Comparative studies have shown that hedges are common in English and Chinese abstracts, and the distribution of hedges in the four steps of the digest is very similar, but there are significant differences in the occurrence frequency and species distribution of hedges. This article analyzes these phenomena and discusses the pragmatic functions of hedges in medical essays and further explores their implications for abstracts and medical essay writing.
