民间喜庆礼仪活动是我国民俗活动的重要组成部分,是劳动人民淳朴好客,热爱生活,追求理想,珍惜友谊思想感情的反映,也是一个民族文明程度的体现。人们生活中的喜庆礼仪活动,诸如娶妻、嫁女,为老人做寿、给小孩过生日以及店铺开张营业等等,都要请一位司仪(现在习惯称主持人)来操持主理,以期提高活动的质量和品位,达到心满意足的效果。
