Vienna: According to the results of a clinical trial published here at the 13th International Conference on Chemotherapy, the use of two different chemotherapeutic drugs in the bladder has proven to be an effective treatment for superficial bladder tumors. An article by the University of Tennessee Mark Soloway reported that soaking the entire bladder in 36 patients with multifocal tumors with a high dose of Mitomycin-C resulted in a total effective rate of 78%, of which 45% completely disappeared and 33% Partially disappeared.
