动机是一个心理学上的概念。它是指引起个体活动,维持已引起的活动,并促使该活动朝向某一目标进行的原因。作为一个解释性的概念,动机用来说明个体为什么这样或那样做。本文就是利用动机理论,分析学生学习动机与其学习成绩之间的关系以及如何培养和激发学生学习动机以提高学习成绩进行探讨。分析学习动机有无或强弱与英语学习成绩的相关性。
Motivation is a psychological concept. It refers to the cause of an individual’s activity, the maintenance of the activity that has been caused and the promotion of that activity towards a certain goal. As an explanatory concept, motivation is used to explain why an individual did this or that. This article uses motivation theory to analyze the relationship between students’ motivation and their academic performance, and how to cultivate and motivate their motivation to improve their academic performance.
