顾颉刚是我国著名的史学家,也是一名社会教育家。这双重身份使他对同样具有学术研究和教育普及等多重职能的博物馆情有独钟。纵观其一生,他非常关心中国博物馆的建设,并对博物馆的发展有所思考,尤其在博物馆教育方面,他着重强调博物馆在学术普及、实物教育、宣扬文化等方面的作用,这在博物馆教育并不被看重的民国时期尤显重要,凸显出顾颉刚作为伟大学者所具备的人文思想和社会关怀。
Gu Jiegang is a famous historian in our country and a social educator.
