＂桂青野＂以广西野生稻８１－３７７作母本与晚籼青华矮６号杂交，再用早籼双桂１号、双桂３６作父本对杂种进行连续定向杂交，经７年１１代选育而成。该品种早熟、高产、优质、高抗褐稻虱生物型Ⅰ、Ⅱ，一般亩产３５０－５００公斤，适应桂南、桂中稻作区种植。
