我是一名自由摄影师,喜欢拍人们在生活环境中的状态。我对他们如何生活、在做些什么非常好奇。我曾在十多个国家工作生活过,但感觉在荷兰,尤其是自己的家乡拍摄要容易一些,不用四处奔走,如果不满意还可以重新拍摄。后来,我决定拍摄100张我们艾格蒙德村村民的照片。我在这里长大,对这里太熟悉了,因此一时也很难搞明白什么东西更有意思。我需要用新的角度去观察我熟悉的一切。在拍摄这个专题时,我开始对修士的生活产生了兴趣(我是个无宗教信仰的人)。当我开始拍摄时,艾格蒙德还有三个修道院,现在其中的一个在我拍摄过程中关闭了……
I am a freelance photographer and I like to photograph people in their living environment. I’m curious about how they live and what they do. I have worked and worked in more than 10 countries, but I feel that it is easier to take pictures in the Netherlands, especially in my own hometown. I do not need to go around and re-shoot if not satisfied. Later, I decided to take a picture of 100 villagers in our Egmont village. I grew up here, too familiar with it, so for a moment it is difficult to understand what is more interesting. I need to use a new perspective to observe what I am familiar with. As I shot the subject, I became interested in the monk’s life (I am a non-religious person). When I started filming, there were three other monasteries in Edmund, and now one of them shut down during my filming ...
