多孔混凝土是内部含有大量细小封闭的气孔,不含骨料的轻混凝土。孔隙率大,一般可达50%~85%,表观密度一般在300~1200kg/m3之间,导热系数为0.08~0.29W(m.K),强度为0.5~1.5MPa,因此多孔混凝土是一种轻质多孔材料。根据气孔产生的方法不同,多孔混凝土分为加气混凝土和泡沫混凝土。由于加气混凝土的生产较稳定,其气孔大小和分布更为均匀,因此它的生产和发展更迅速,应用更广泛。
