编輯同志: 南大二四一九是一个优良的小麦品种,1960年滁县专区种植面积达一百三十四万亩,占小麦总面积的35%。近年来有人認为該品种已經退化,进而压縮种植面积。我認为这对生产是不利的。根据我所1952—1963年(内缺1958、1960、1961年資料)的試驗,南大二四一九平均亩产为三百四十八点四斤,比当地品种白和尙头增产28.6%。特別是1955、1956、1957、1962年大幅度增产。这与这几年自然条件有关,如1955年5月連旱二十四天,其他品种減产,部分晚播的受旱未实;而南大二四一九因抗旱力强,亩产仍达四百四十七点二斤。1956年锈病
